Boulder Dushanbe Tea House

The tea house was given to Boulder by its sister city, Dushanbe (Tajikistan).

Crossing Utah

Driving from Wendover to Salt Lake City. It was an interesting landscape, but literally nothing changed for 2 hrs except for the semi trucks.


Getting a lot closer to the Great Salt Lake.



We stopped for gas right outside of Salt Lake City and let the engine cool down.

Nevada (August 2011)

The drive into Lovelock didn't go smoothly, with radiator trouble and a dust storm.

The Zephyr runs from San Francisco to Chicago. I just went over the Sierra to Reno. It was a beautiful and relaxing day...
